Cheers helps customers remotely send prepaid drink gifts and bar credits to friends at participating nightlife venues. Gifts are redeemed only in person at licensed bars, restaurants, and hospitality businesses that handle fulfillment, age verification, service rules, and redemption.
How Cheers works
Cheers is a marketplace and payment experience for sending hospitality gifts that are used in person at participating venues.

Visit
The recipient gets a notification and visits the licensed business in person. No alcohol is delivered, shipped, or fulfilled by Cheers.

Redeem
The recipient shows a QR code or redemption code. The venue verifies the recipient, scans or confirms the code, and completes or rejects the redemption according to applicable law.
Compliance and operations
Licensed businesses handle fulfillment.
Participating bars and restaurants are independent licensed businesses. Bartenders and venue staff remain responsible for all legally required checks and for deciding whether a redemption may be completed.
- Age verification Recipients must present valid identification when required. Venues are responsible for verifying legal drinking age before serving alcohol.
- Service rules Venues may refuse service, limit redemption, substitute eligible items, or decline a transaction to comply with law, safety practices, capacity limits, or house policies.
- Redemption control Cheers provides the digital gift, payment, notification, and QR/code experience. The licensed venue confirms the redemption, rings it into its point-of-sale process where applicable, provides the goods or services, and records completion.
- Local law Availability, eligible items, timing, and redemption conditions may vary by location and are subject to applicable alcohol, hospitality, and consumer protection rules.
